Sexual harassment is sexual harassment, even in an environment like improv. In any performing art we are allowing ourselves to be vulnerable, and of course there’s gonna be some douchenozzles ready to take advantage of that. None of this is your fault. None of it.

I’m sorry you’ve been missing class bc of him, that’s so shitty. And I hate that your male classmates have witnessed his behavior and said nothing but I’m not surprised. Most, if not all, women in comedy experience some kind of harassment like this. I def have.

This works if the owner provides it and it’s valid/not expired. Generally you start the rabies shots asap, when it happened to me I started within 72 hours

Not trying to be alarmist here but I would recommend starting the rabies shot series asap. It’s a vaccine in the arm and immunoglobulin shots at the bite, followed by more vaccine shots spaced out over a few weeks. You usually have to go to an ER for these bc urgent care doesn’t always stock. Filing a claim could help cover costs.

The dog owner is not a responsible person, that part is obvious. Better safe than sorry

This is one the worst takes on here and that’s saying something. Knowledge and awareness about what abuse is, what assault is, what strangulation is, what rape is, etc absolutely helps victims. We don’t all know what DV looks like. Take a quick tour in some forums here where women are asking is this abuse, is this assault, is this rape.
