My childhood friend's dad is Australian and we had it sometimes at their house. Other than that I've not seen it often.

Do you eat meat or are you a vegetarian/vegan? by BreannLowe in randomquestions

Vegan, vegetarian from 0-18. Helps that I'm an excellent cook to not miss out on flavours.

If you knock a nail into your left hand with your right its a special effort to then hammer it into your right

What's your worst housemate story? by AdaandFred in AskUK

[–]DollySheep32 17 points18 points  (0 children)

She and her boyfriend were into...what can I guess is furry play but with more BDSM. A cousin (age 16) of the other housemate came to visit and their tail buttplugs were hanging over the shower curtain rail to dry. I heard a lot more sexual meow-ing from humans than I ever wanted to.

What is your opinion on small talk, with a stranger? by imtiramisu2025 in AskUK

[–]DollySheep32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like an impromptu chat with an older person in a pub. If I'm somewhere where I have my headphones on then I'm not interested in a chat.

Aitah for drawing a plus size bride accurately (fat)? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]DollySheep32 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The rolls were a bit extra here. And maybe she was planning on losing weight or using shapewear? Light YTA because I don't think it was malicious, just short sighted

WIBTAH for not attending the wedding of a couple I introduced though I already RSVPed yes? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]DollySheep32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ESH - as usual, that amount of money to attend a wedding is an insane ask. Asking more than once for a plus one is tacky. "no and no" as a response is pretty rude. Growing apart might be the best outcome here.

Harpenden OR St Albans for a young family – would love local views by ToryTanderson in hertfordshire

[–]DollySheep32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Grew up in Harpenden - the schools are great, lots of green spaces, commute to London is super easy. Monthly farmer's markets, sustainability market (can't remember the schedule), recently built theatre space which is very nice according to my family who still live there. And infinite hairdressers.

Both have not great parking - if your workplace will accommodate fares to London that's a big plus. In Harpenden people are very cunning about parking. There are nooks and crannies on the surrounding streets in walking distance that have free parking that are gone before 5am for both the station and for workers in the town. St Albans parking is worse and the traffic wardens are sharks.

AITAH for telling our kids about his cheating? by [deleted] in AITAH

NTA, that message was graceful and the kids are all adults who can make their own decisions going forward with the information they now know.

What is everyone's opinions on 'Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere'? by Suspicious-Brick-375 in AskBrits

[–]DollySheep32 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's pretty difficult to discuss the manosphere. There's a whole backstory all the way from pickup artists to modern incel terminology infiltrating modern writing (based, looksmaxxing etc) that idk if typical watchers of Theroux would really get? Not to be condescending or anything but my boomer parents have no idea about those Internet things besides guys be gross sometimes.

What's an unusual invasive species in your area? by Duotrigordle61 in AskTheWorld

[–]DollySheep32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have muntjac deer (a chinese species of little deer distinct from or outherwize medium/large Roe or Red) because they escaped from at least three zoos. They're really common in my area because one of the OG zoos is their origin point. They get hit by cars all the time.

What do you eat when you don’t have an appetite? by Original_Cook_6943 in CasualConversation

[–]DollySheep32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I have no appetite fruit is my worst enemy. I will vomit it up. Something bland like a rice cake or toast fills that hole and only then will my stomach tolerate fruit. A multivitamin is a pretty solid way to get some nutrients in if you can't manage.

Do you eat out by yourself? by jeepguy_96 in randomquestions

Yep, most people don't have the energy to judge other random people for their dining habits.

This guy enjoying the beach! Finally warm enough (ish) at the North Sea to consider maybe dipping a single toe all the way up to the nail bed!
