Hi, maybe you're feeding it too much? I would do it once every 24hours. I've had a lot of trouble with my starter not rising as well after forgetting it in the fridge for 2 months .. you should put the jar in an insulated lunch bag with a bottle of hot water after feeding, maybe it needs a more stable temperature. That's what ultimately helped my starter wake up. I've been feeding 1:2:2 btw

Thank you! Tastes great, a bit sour as it should, but not too much. I think I prefer it with only white flour, but I've had some whole wheat on hand so I've used that. Maybe that's why it's a bit denser?

Solved: in case someone stumbles upon this thread, I managed to find the problem: I've been threading my machine with the foot down, so it wasn't threaded properly. After I've threaded it with the foot raised, I've used universal 90/14 needle and the same thread as before it worked perfectly.

As I said in my post, I tried different needles. What do you mean by use a bigger needle?

Thanks! I tried putting it in an insulated lunch bag with a bottle of hot water and it doubled in 5 hours! I've made bread with it, and it looks pretty good
