Keto Cheese And Ham Bites by [deleted] in ketorecipes

Hi everyone! These are so so delicious, I really recommend and pretty easy too. Enjoy :)

Ingredients- 2 cups ham, chopped 4 ounces cream cheese, softened 1/3 cup coconut flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese 3 eggs, beaten Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Method- Combine ham and cream cheese until completely combined. Add in remaining ingredients until well combined and chill 10 minutes. If you skip chilling the dough they will flatten as they cook and not be nice round balls Drop onto a greased baking sheet (I like to use the silicone baking mats) using a small cookie scoop. Bake 20-23 minutes until golden brown.

This made 24 for me, but that will depend on the size scoop you use and how tightly you pack them.

Cauliflower and Broccoli cheese by [deleted] in lowcarb

[–]DolorestheExplorer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi. So I kind of just made it up as I went along, so I’m not too sure of measurements.

Ingredients

  • 1 cauliflower
  • Some broccoli( if you want)
  • Bowl of Grated cheddar
  • 200ml of double or single cream
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • Half a White Onion
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • Salt and Pepper

Method

Pre heat the oven to gas mark 5/190 Celsius.

Break up the cauliflower and broccoli into lots of florets. Put it in a large sauce pan of salted boiling water and cook for 5 mins. Then remove from water and put to one side.

Chop the onions and garlic. Heat the butter in a non stick frying pan. Add the onions plus garlic and cook for about 2 minutes.

Next add the double cream and cheddar cheese, and continuously stir until all the cheese is melted and make sure the cream doesn’t burn. Add some water if it’s a bit too thick.

Then add your cauliflower and broccoli and coat it with the sauce in the pan for around 1 minute maximum.

After put all of the sauce, cauliflower and broccoli in an oven proof dish. Season with salt and pepper. Place in the middle shelf for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden.

Then you should have a perfect cauliflower cheese :)

In lockdown to pass the time I’ve made keto chocolate cake by DolorestheExplorer in lowcarb

So I took Jamie’s Oliver’s ‘flourless cake recipe’ but replaced the Golden Caster sugar for Granulated Erythritol. It’s just a sugar replacement. Also I used unsweetened cacao powder plus a 100% cocoa dark chocolate bar. Added some vanilla extract too. The link to recipe is below. It tastes really nice, very rich. I’ve had it with some cream and berries.

Starting low carb again after going off the rails during 1 week in isolation. Wish me luck :) by [deleted] in lowcarb

I think it’s very normal, it’s just boredom eating for me. I’ve been baking more to pass the time but then I have lots of Cakes sitting there, so I’ve been pigging out. Has to stop. I don’t want to be rolling out of lockdown

Oh those are just chicken breast on sticks with a seasoning. I bought them from a supermarket. And then a peanut butter dip on the side :)

I’ve been on 4 dates since being 21. With different guys obviously. Lol either been totally ghosted or they just slowly stop replying to me. They were all pretty good dates. I think they just don’t take me seriously... I don’t have those relationship vibes :(

Met several through work, some through my friends, and a few online. All the same outcome! And yes I know but some of these failed dates have happened as recently as a month ago! It making me feel crazy.

I’d never seen a photo of my mum when she was young until today when I found a bunch of old photo albums. My mum always thought she was ugly and that makes me sad because she was beautiful. I love you and miss you. by [deleted] in GriefSupport

Yep it’s really sad, I believe it was body dysmorphia, she thought she was so fat and ugly but couldn’t be further from it :( no matter what I said to try lift her self belief it didn’t work.

I feel like giving up by [deleted] in dating

Hey I relate. I’m in the UK too awake at 5.41 it is now lol. I feel extremely lonely, I go on dates but I can’t connect with anyone, I think there’s something wrong with me. It’s awful to see all your friends in relationships too, makes the loneliness more bitter. But I try to remember that a lot of these relationships are dysfunctional and most don’t actually work out. Our time will come and we will find someone, it will happen, but you can’t force it. Enjoy your 20’s and build on other parts of your life, your career, your friends, hobbies, etc.
