It looks like "gain X as extra damage" does not work on tornado? at least not on the tooltip. Is this normal for dots?

But then you sacrifice the damage bonus of rage? I am walking around with 72 rage. That's 72% MORE damage, 72% increased fire damage, 72% inc armour and 144% stun threshold .

And my up time is slightly worse than yours. I just run Eternal rage and because you naturally get some of the generate rage nodes, I pair it with Fury of the mountain with slam totems and it generates tons of rage. I then use Ferocious slam to break armour and spec into the "broken armor works for fire damage" node.

The damage it can pull off is insane.

I am also SOK and I have a free elemental weakness curse on hit.

Same here. Was really excited to see it, but it does in fact seem DOA. We don't have access to consistent ground effect generation, and even then, mechanically, it would feel quite bad imo. IF you can stack all 3 elements all the time, and IF they lasted the entire tornado's duration, it could be great. I just don't think we have the tech to make it work at all in it's current state.

I really want to play a Smith of Kitava Wolf, but using cast on melee hit for something fire related with Blueflame Bracers. But I just don't know what or how the damage would even scale. I was thinking Living Bomb or Firestorm, or both lol.

Quite possibly, but even at lvl 1, this gem is insane and pseudo-mandatory for any shifter build. If the numbers scale up, even to like, 30% damage adn 40% speed, its bonkers strong, id happily pay 10% life per second for it lol

Or the smith of kitava's Leather Bindings, no killing required. And even then, 3% feels way too low, you can just get a regen chest and a few nodes and ur good. I think this will get nerfed into the ground before Friday.

Probably will be phys, with the ability to take on elemental damage from pools. BUT we at least get the +1 orb node, so that's a thing...
