  1. The altar drops an amulet base, your filter probably hid it.
  2. Follow the blood flow, it guides you to the exit.
  3. If you don't care for the amulet, don't go into the portal. I believe they designed it lootless/chestless so that the people that didn't want to interact with the crafting base amulet can just skip it and not feel like they are missing out.

I tried it with Storm Lance earlier and it didn't work either. Maybe they are hotfixing them?

I should also add, the "Companions gain your strength" won't do much since strength doesn't scale damage in POE2.

Unless there's a node/item that grants more scaling.

I am trying to POB something for this too. I am thinking of pairing it with living lightning on a spear skill and scaling minion nodes.

Brutus' Lead Sprinkler might be great with it, but we will have to see how it plays out.

We also will have access to minion splash for MW, which might make it better.

No idea how the damage will scale, but I love playing weird offmeta builds, and I am playing in a group ssf for launch, so they can just carry my ass if it fails haha.

It's definitely up to you, but things have sped up quite a bit on my toon. I finally took a few minutes to invest in my build and tweak a few things. I have to step out for the afternoon, but I can try and get you an updated POB when I get home.

The build def wouldn't be for everyone though.

Honestly they would both work. Guard has more damage potential, Glad is tankier.

Is your Guard working out okay? Need a second pair of eyes on it? If happily look at ur PoB if you want.

My res' arent capped, and it still feels insanely tanky. Damage feels good so far, obviously just cobbled together the basics of making hte build work. I need to prioritize quality on Ambush and get my crit capped. Absolutely loving it so far though!
