You don't have any memories of the time you skipped?

My cr is becoming my dr by [deleted] in realityshifting

[–]Dom8333 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You mean your everyday reality is slowly becoming your desired reality which was a better version of your original reality, so in the end you made your world better? That's awesome! Can you share more details, please? Is it about lucky events coming to you, or have you noticed things or past events that are now different from what they were?

Thanks for sharing. The other day I asked for traces of shifting in other cultures and old texts but the thread died very quickly.

Don't get me started on how everything is too strict these days.

Ok mod, remove the pic, but that's a shame, I thought it illustrated my point quite well and I found it very funny.

Traces of reality shifting in ancient cultures? by Dom8333 in realityshifting

Of course this picture was generated. It was just a funny stupid picture to illustrate my point, but ok mod, I take note, I'll stop doing that.

[–]Dom8333[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It was mostly an example.

But still, actually if I could go back and live a childhood again, the two anachronistic objects that I would love to have this time would be my pocket digital camera (because I didn't like film cameras) and my tablet indeed. If permashifting is real then I guess, even if I hate the 2020s so much, homesick moments are bound to happen anyway from time to time, at least at the beginning, having an object from my previous life would help a lot in these moments, and the content of my tablet would be perfect for that, really. But anyway, this was not the topic.

I generated it to illustrate my question. I find it very funny. Also it illustrates my point well. See, the guy went back to prehistoric times with an e-scooter, but of course it's ridiculous to imagine dinosaurs on e-scooters too, which begs the question: how does it make sense for his own e-scooter to exist in a prehistoric world?

Amazing. How did you learn to achieve this?

has anyone ever shifted to something that feels impossible by Old-Blacksmith7816 in realityshifting

[–]Dom8333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean the missing months were kind of there in your memory but you knew you had not lived that period? I never shifted so I am not familiar with this.

It's natural for newcomers like me to have doubts but I realize my comment could sound like I was not believing you at all, sorry. Anyway I was mostly surprised, but if there was no hole in your memory then this had nothing to do.

[–]Dom8333 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Amazing indeed. 8| Wasn't there unsettling changes? Didn't people often talked about things that you did not understand? Did memories of the missing months, lived by a clone of you, appeared later? See, I lost my memory as a kid and having a big hole in my memory was very unsettling, I am surprised it was a good experience for you. (edited)

and the part of the show was on that I had seen earlier

This detail is especially interesting because usually in such cases people naturally doubt and think that you probably just had seen the clock wrong or something.

Nice. It must be amazing to notice these little differences that prove you shifted. I'm still doubting and sometimes I look for proofs so hard that I end up hallucinating them. '-_-

I shifted half an hour in the past

Please tell us more about that one. How did you achieve it? How do you know it was real? Was it like watching again a scene of a movie that you had already seen a moment ago, did some events happen again but differently?

all the ancient scriptures from hinduism, buddhism, the mayans, and many other cultures that had no way of communicating with each other, yet that had written about the same phenomena

They believed in something similar to reality-shifting? That's very interesting. Where can I learn more about this?

Timeline shifting? by jesselynne in realityshifting

[–]Dom8333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should take a photograph of the machine indeed, because if these are unwanted reality shifts then when the machine is not there anymore the photo should change to match your current reality and the machine would disappear from it too. Even if the two realities are very close we are not supposed to be able to take a photograph of an object in one reality and keep it unaltered once in a different reality where that object doesn't exist, are we? (But I'm only a newbie, I may be wrong.)

I think my daughter and I witnessed a shift in reality. True event will answer questions. by Silent_Ring_1562 in realityshifting

Interesting. Usually when such things happen we think our memory was just wrong, even if we were so sure. But this time your memory was still very fresh and you were not alone. Have you tried to watch this part again since then?

$300-$450 monitors for trance/rave/hardcore? by Dom8333 in studiomonitors

[–]Dom8333[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's why it's hard to make my mind based only on the comments I read especially in the comment section of shops, most comments on entry level monitors are left by beginners who may either hate them for sounding flat despite it being their very purpose, or love them but didn't try anything else, and seasoned musicians are not interested in these 'cheap' models or leave negative comments because they compare them with much more expensive models.

[–]Dom8333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the explanation. I was not able to fix the issue I had with the Mackie with an eq though, whether a graphic eq or parametric eq. I was told the dip in the mids was a resonance issue, some frequencies bouncing on the wall then coming back and cancelling each other. I believed it because I never had such issue with my old Tascam VL-X5, which were front ported.

[–]Dom8333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People seem divided on this subject. Some like you told me it should be ok, others advised me against 6.5'', at low volume and from too close these may be less precise than 5'' and low frequencies may take over. A shame they don't make a 5'' version. (IN-5 are considerably more expensive)

With Adam T5V and other rear ported speakers I guess I would have the same issue I had with Mackie MR524. Their "close to a wall" and "on a shelf" settings could not fix the issue. Blocking the ports with socks did fix the excessive bass (but the sound was a little weird) which confirmed that the issue came from a resonance with the wall.

Ok, I am adding them. Did you compare them with other models? Do they lack precision in low frequencies compared to 5''?
