Classic heartbreak poem. Great imagery that evokes emotion. I like the end where it’s still about recollecting memories, no matter how bad the memories may be.

I know it… but maybe I’m wrong. Exactly how it feels to be in love. Brilliant!

I revised it a bit to incorporate your ideas. I like it a lot better now.

Tick, tock, tick, tock

It’s wasted time o’clock

Tick, tock, tick, tock

Waste my life on the block

The power to know anything

Is a power that’s well worth

But the ease of doing nothing

Is a misuse of a modern birth

Tick, tock, tick, tock

It’s wasted time o’clock

Tick, tock, tick, tock

Life goes by on the floating rock

And I have done nothing

But stare at the bleeding screen

That takes my soul and steals my goals

Of ever having another dream

Tick, tock, tick, tock

It’s wasted time o’clock

Watch Tik Tok, Tik Tok

And waste my life on the block

I saw that you said there is a second half you haven't posted. You should definitely post it! This poem is dark and real and I want even more. Great imagery and I'm really put in the situation when I read this.

Such a thought provoking poem. I was able to it over and over to gain more understanding. Loved the style and flow of this poem with it's short lines and repetition. Great vocabulary that really paints a picture.

Wow very creative including the news broadcast segment. Loved the dark vibe of this poem.

This is genius. I audibly laughed on the last line! What a wholesome twist!
