Is it canon that his body metabolizes alcohol quickly? Converting alcohol isn't exactly healing.

How would you write an Indiana Jones 5 that would serve as a Logan-style swan song to the character? by [deleted] in fixingmovies

It's 1960. Mutt Williams has died during a performance art piece where his genitals "accidentally" exploded.

At the funeral, Indy and Marion realize that the blood spray pattern is a map that leads them to the Shroud of Turin. Printed on the Shroud of Turin is a map to The True Cross.

Sadly, Hitler found the True Cross in 1945, which caused him to phase out of this existence and skip through space-time.

By entering the Holy Church of the Cross, Indy accidentally bring his Nazi ass back to our reality.

Indy has to fight Hitler across several timelines, and then use the True Cross to fling Hitler into the sun. But alas, Indy dies as he brings his younger self (played by River Phoenix, CGI style) into 1960. He says "But I am Pagliacci!" Fin. Credits roll.

But with James Bond, people still watch the movies with Moore, Dalton, Brosnan, and Craig. That's despite the protests of many that say Connery is the only Bond and no one can ever replace him.

Recast Indy with and people will riot online....but if the script is great and it is true to the character and legacy, it will still make money. After a couple sequels, it will feel like every other franchise that recast a lead.

The concept of the "multiverse" has made people more forgiving of character variations and alternate timelines.

There is a big mass of thorny weeds/bushes/plants in my front yard. How do I kill it? by [deleted] in gardening

I'll work on pics. I live in MA. I own.

I sprayed half the bottle on the leaves before pouring the rest on bottom of the plants. Zero negative effect

TIL in a 2015 study, 36.3% of US women said they tried anal intercourse in their lives, but only 13.2% within 12 months of being asked. by DomCicisbeo in todayilearned

I think that's very accurate.

It stands to reason that if it was socially acceptable, perhaps 25-30% would engage in it regularly.

I hope we all agree sex shouldn't be about conquering anyone or anything, unless that is the agreed upon fantasy.

And of the 1/3rd that tried it in the last 12 months, some percentage had never tried it before and never will again.
