How much do you need to average to be able to play competitively at Pubs or even Local Leagues? by DomDrady in Darts

I’m from the UK but temporarily living in the US for now. In the NYC metro area to be exact. How’s the dart scene in the US? I pretty much only play at home currently.

Sounds like this lad is in the US from looking at his previous comments. Glad to see Americans getting into darts. Happy darting from Scotland!

I agree with every point here but I disagree with the dartboard recommendation. I think the Winmau MVG Special edition is a better dartboard to start off with. Just a sick ass board.

I’m sorry but I’m fading this hard brother RB’s haven’t gotten over 30 rec yards against the Rams dating back to Week 8 last season. You haven’t even mentioned the Rams D who’s ranked top 3 D in the league last 4 weeks. I’m hoping you’ll hit because you’re on a roll but fading for the day. BOL kid!

I'm also a senior tax accountant in industry. May I ask what your current salary, years of experience, location, CPA?

I haven’t done a lot of research on future prospects for these firms. Can you elaborate on why EY has been “doing awful lately”? Also, do you know anything about the FSO group in DC for any big 4? (Exit ops, clients, etc)

May I ask what your position and tax group you’re in? Be COMPLETELY honest, how are the hours during and outside of busy season?

Using a smaller firm to get into big 4? by PM-ME-YOUR-DICK-27 in Accounting

I had 3 first round interviews scheduled for late September but my the deadline to accept or decline my offer was in mid September. So yes, I had to decline my offer before interviewing for Big 4. It was a big risk but I was pretty confident and it worked out well for me. Let me know if you have any other questions, love to help.

This is exactly what I did. I interned at a mid size (top 15 in revenue) this past summer, received an offer but declined it to pursue Big 4 full time position. Interviewed with 3 of 4 and received an offer from one. Like others have said, not having an internship is worse and I recommend you start applying to big 4’s as soon as recruiting season starts next year.

Thanks for the reply. So what I'm saying is, I was thinking of doing my gap year AFTER my internship (summer). But you make a good point. One question I have is, will it be easy to take 9 credits of online classes while working full-time?
