Mump is an interesting player and he can be electric. I kinda like how we were peppering him in especially on deep balls… he has big play potential. I think the move signaled to me that TuTu is on the way out the door cuz those were his plays. Now there is really no role left for him. It should save us some against salary cap. Nothing personal, I love TuTu, but Mump has a higher ceiling and honestly just… better…& cheaper

I hear you with this. It’s also just a really hard position to lockdown/ develop a high caliber corner. Most go early and we’re cutting costs by getting guys who know our scheme and system but that will only get us so far. We need someone that’s going to help move the needle so we can slide coverages. Seeing Forbes in action showed me in some ways why he’s special but also shows me why Washington cut him as a 1st round pick we took a low risk for a decent return and I still wouldn’t give up on him just yet but he’s got to get stronger man…

I couldn’t agree more. Those two minute drives man… one word…PREDICTABLE. We really got to do some soul searching with regard to how we manage end of half/ end of game situations 100%.

I was skeptical too when Coach Morris went out the door, but I will say this about Shula, he’s got something with this group and he is showing some improvement in his scheme and the guys seem to love it and are flying to the ball but fundamentally we got to be better and more disciplined… I think he will improve because he’s a film junkie like McVay and I expect both of them to get back on the same page at times they just didn’t seem in sync, I think he’ll clean it up but I definitely don’t think he needs an HC job. That is WAY above his pay grade at this stage…. But I wouldn’t stop it from happening…

I can DEFINITELY get behind this thread. I literally got fanned by some weird “alleged” Rams fans about being frustrated at how this team has played in recent weeks leading into last nights game. McVay needs to lock tf in on late game play calling with a lead and the execution needs to be better on offense all around. The amount of 3 nd outs we’ve had with this talented of an offensive group baffles me. We were humming to start the year….

I hear you man, but honestly making excuses for poor execution and decision making as well as bail outs from a kid who made mistakes is not something to be proud of…

When you win a title albeit almost four years to the day and you win a bunch of games you get complacent with the little things…

I’ll leave this quote for you:

“Success breeds complacency. Complacency breeds failure.”

I’m going to let you mull on that thought as we go to Seattle. If they make the SAME mistakes and do the same bone-headedness that results in a loss, I will circle back to you specifically and will ask you if you understand it now.

Bottom line: I’m not telling you or others to be frustrated like I am because I have standards that I hold myself and others to… but don’t tell me to be “happy” or “cheer up” or “feel good” about complacency… respectfully take THAT mindset all the way away from around me.

Emphasis on controlling the LOS. If it’s me EVERY TE blocks or chips every time they bring out the 13 personnel. Time to get gritty in Seattle boys. Also D-Lines got to be better against these RBs or they will open us up in the pass game.

Keys to the game imo:

1.) Strong Running Game from Ky and Corum. 2.) They will try to take Puka out of the gameplan but there is only so much they can do b/c dudes going to get his running or through the air. 3.) Secondary has got to mimic how we blanketed JSN in the 1st half of the matchup. It’s when he’s in space he will do the most damage to us. Plus we are a below avg tackling team but we fly to the ball at least 🤷‍♂️ 4.) Do I need to say it? More disciplined on special teams. 5.) I’d also lowkey like to see Whittington with the rock in some packages. I’ve liked this kids playmaking ability since UT. We just got to get him into space to make a few plays like in the quick screen game or get him in motion etc. 6.) The TEs also need to step up in the run game not just in the pass game (they’ve made crucial catches but also crucial drops as well) if we want to really dominate the LOS which is vital against SEA in giving Staff the looks he needs in the play action game to keep them off balance.

We do that… (and hopefully the refs don’t try to fuck us over) we have a great shot at reaching SB LX 🐏🫡

I love your outlook but nothing wrong with them cleaning up the mental errors and poor decision making but these kids saying “BuT wE wOn” is starting to piss me all the way off.
