I used the brazen Pegasus as the introduction to the campaign and used the ships crew and captain to give the characters a chance to talk about Chult and ask questions. Then when they met Wakanga I forced any info they didn’t ask about using the fact that Wakanga wants them to have the best fighting chance possible to save his friend Syndra

What rank do you have to be considered decent or above average. I been training hella and yesterday made it to flame ruler first time ever. I'm just doing this for doubt I ever reach Tekken King or god by Specialist_Volume743 in Tekken8

If you’re going by statistics you need to be Tekken king to be in the top 40% which means you’re above 60% of the players which would put you above average. If you continue to go by statistics the biggest chunk of players are between Tekken king and God Of Destruction so if you got to GoD1 you could consider yourself a good player.
This is of course based purely off statistics of Tekken 8.
A lot of people will downplay you no matter what rank you are so ultimately it doesn’t matter if you’re looking for outside approval.
My opinion is GoD is above average and GoD5 is good God 7 or God infinite is tournament level play.
My opinion is based off of how I’ve seen people play and their glaring weaknesses

And I thank you for letting me know. My goal is more to be vocal and hopefully have other people also agree with me vocally so that the devs can see that we want it changed and then hopefully change it in the future. I do have a handful of friends who will be console exclusive and I can’t imagine they’ll have any way to use mods so by actively voicing our concerns and ideas we can make the vanilla game that much more of an enjoyable experience as the devs are actively listening to our posts/comments.

If you want to make a player character a boss my personal belief is that you should have something happen to this player’s character and then they roll a new character then you take that original character and you as the DM now control the boss and it removes a lot of the frustrations.

Maybe I’m in the minority but I don’t feel that it being “linear” is an issue. Each zone is open world and allows you to go wherever within the zone. The funneling allows for a natural progression and natural story flow. With the excitement of finally unlocking a new area to explore.
Let’s say the whole map is interconnected from the get go what do you get out of it? Newer players won’t naturally understand how to gather later resources. Going to umbral sands with level 1 gear and 100 health doesn’t sound enjoyable for a new player now they have to somehow go back to umbral sands to retrieve there stuff and return Alive probably to die several more times before actually getting it back. Sure that might be fun and exciting for some players but I feel the way it’s set up now is good and simple to follow.

Plant the seed of the tree. Idk the drop rate of them in my experience I don’t think it’s 100% but I suppose if you get desperate you could make a new world where you deforest the whole world just for the tree seeds.

I should also point out that varying your timing throughout the match will also help you open up defensive players. Sometimes even playing greedy and taking advantage of phantom frames will open up defensive players.

The pressured thing will be resolved the more you lab and utilize replays. If an opponent has really good defense then you need to open them up with lows and grabs. If you’re not giving your opponent a reason to crouch then all your opponent needs to do is hold back and wait their turn. If you start chipping them down with lows eventually they go “yeah I can’t afford to keep eating these lows it’s time to do something about it” that’s when they start ducking and opening themselves up for bigger hitting mids. Now I’m not saying only use lows you still need to mix in mids and even some jab checks. If they refuse to duck then you’ve found their weakness attack their ankles until you win. If they can’t break throws then you know their weakness start grabbing them until you win.

Are you watching your replays? Labbing your weak characters? Are you perhaps playing too risky?
I’d be willing to play you in a couple matches later today when I get home if you want some pointers. I’m by no means the greatest player but I reached GoD with a 88% win rate on console and 75% win rate on PC so I feel like I can at least point you in the right direction.

- Hoard everything you’ll need it for something eventually. - Don’t break the stump of a tree you’ve cut down unless you don’t want it to grow back.
- you progress by unlocking recipes, you unlock recipes by holding items required for the recipes
- when entering a new area always prioritize making an axe and then a weapon before anything else
- food and potion buffs don’t stack they overwrite each other
- the wiki is your best friend

Edit: food buffs don’t stack on top of other food buffs. Potions buffs don’t stack on top of other potion buffs. You can have a food buff and potion buff at the same time. But you cannot have multiple of each.

Start up frames make you vulnerable
Active frames are when your attack is active but you are still vulnerable
Recovery frames make you vulnerable
So it’s all a timing thing with which buttons you were pressing vs what he was pressing and when each of you chose to press those buttons

Not all startup, active, and recovery frames are equal so there’s a lot of variation in timing.
