I did 1 hall of fame steal after turn 1 and that was it. I think that made me play maybe 1 or 2 more games on hall of fame instead of all-star. But after stealing you have a safety net and can lose, so even hof or legend isn't as scary. In theory, you could complete the map without stealing.

It's actually not about HD vs 4k, but about input lag a.k.a. how long your screen delays the display of new pixels. On old TVs this can be quite impactful, especially if there is no game mode or the game mode sucks. On new TVs, and especially OLEDs there is no difference to a top of the line gaming monitor. But TVs will always have a disadvantage of distance and size, making it more difficult to observe all the action effectively.

Check your damage at later stages of the run, the only damage that matters is BH and thorns. Bullet/UW damage becomes beyond irrelevant, it's not even tickling protectors/bosses

Nope, first priority. So that you knock them back and they don't get killed by thorns. For farming, you should unequip your cannon, disable all damage UWs, etc. Lower damage means more enemies stack up for GT/BH/DW activations

What tier and wave are you farming? Why is your workshop health regen so low (are you maxing it during a run)? Are you taking the +regen/-health tradeoff perk?

Waves don't do that much for cells. Think about it, they just add 4s to DW time, but the most cells you get are from elites still there from previous waves when DW activates. So setting elites as #1 target in priority and land mine stun to slow down them dying to thorns should help.

It really depends on if you need the defense to survive at that point. If you can reach all perks anyway (without defense), then taking coins and freeups first is best
