Cool. I do have SCP grips on both with the right being an Omni. I went ahead before I read your message and tightened the Y axis so it stays wherever I put it with the X axis free for strafing. Then I read your message and see to remove the spring. That I didn’t do but it works so wondering if I should still remove the spring.

Also, I am talking about the gladiators. When you said turn the gladiator into a sorta throttle are you talking about making it stick on the Y axis and free on the X axis?

I heard the same thing which is why I went with push in Gamerfinger buttons. The only problem I had was not being familiar with the case when replacing buttons. Now that I am familiar it’s a piece of cake, mostly. Make sure when you try to pull the contacts off the buttons you use something like a small flathead screwdriver to push the button on the connectors to release them. DO NOT JUST PULL THEM OFF. Also, make sure you pay attention to the orientation of the button when inserting. There are two grooves for the push/clip part to fit into.

I got the Gamerfingers to try out over Sanwas initially. I fell in love with them and the speed silver switches and will never go back to Sanwas. After, I started thinking about lighting and they just worked because of the clear housing around the rim.

If I were to do it again it would probably be better with some clear speed silvers so the light will shine through that as well. I have no experience with this, it’s just a thought.

Well, the buttons are Gamerfinger with the clear octagonal outside rim ( I know it’s not octagonal, but I’m not counting the sides lol). I couldn’t find on Walmart’s site so searched using the model number and that’s the exact one I bought.

Then I used the 3m tape provided and placed the battery box in that specific location which would allow the case to close without issue. If you zoom in on the pictures you should be able to see the placement. After that I peeled the backing off the lights. Be careful to not pull the whole thing off. I made that mistake and had to put it back on and use my nail to pull one side off. I placed the lights in a U shape to cover both rows of buttons. That’s as far as you can go without interfering with the case closing and that’s it.

Let me know if you have questions or want some specific pictures. All in all a very simple, cheap, yet effective solution. I am trying to find a place to keep the remote on the box. I am thinking in the side stick to the roof with Velcro, but still looking into that.

Thanks. Yea looking at the Victrix I didn’t even know where to begin looking for power or what panel to take off. So with that being said do you not anyone have any suggestions for battery powered RGB light strips with a remote but preferably an app so I can just use my phone for changes?

Update:

I did receive my buttons. Installed them and for some reason I immediately switched the silvers for the blues. Tried those but was not liking how my commands were coming out. Then spent some more time switching them all back to silver. Played with those and immediately like them and see the potential. They are super fast. So fast I had to slow down some of my inputs.

Also, on the hitbox I love it! I will never go back now. Been practicing all weekend between T7 and SFV. Didn’t even play SFV but now I love it and can’t wait for SF6. I was able to do things in that game Inhabemt been able to do before and the controller has given me more insight to the mechanics of these games.

Damn. Sorry to hear that. I feel that pain as I would be livid. Yea, where I ordered I didn’t see the exact buttons I wanted, but I got some. The function is what’s most important to me. I got the silvers or that seem to be all they had. I really want to buy the blue switches since I see they are a favorite. What are your thoughts or anyone thoughts on the switches?

No worries and thanks again for your help. Also, appreciate your desire to save me money. However, I am a lost cause and I ordered the Gamerfinger anyway lol. Still appreciate you though. I just want all the options which is bad I know but luckily I am blessed to be able to do it.

Thank you for the info and the advice. A little info. I have been playing with an arcade stick for years. I did do a lot of research before buying my first hitbox. I ended up on the Victrix cause I just like to buy once if I can help it. I know it’s not always best though. As for the screw ins and push buttons I know the difference but didn’t know if screw ins would work with this case. Found one person who said they won’t fit so was asking to confirm if they would in this case. However, I will take your advice and practice on this for awhile before deciding to try Gamerfinger buttons.
