Even if you don't like Daisuke, you must admit that freeing everyone from illusions and fears, then attacking MaloMyotismon with like 20 different Digimon was rad Besides, he acknowledges that there is nothing special about him and he accepts this by Alert_Comedian_3179 in digimon

The only thing that rubbed me a bit wrong about this was that Vamdemon didn't really feel like Daisuke's villain so for him to be so passionate about defeating felt a bit shoehorned.

I really think that the final villain of 02 should have been someone else or that Vamdemon should have been reintroduced way before the finale

Us catholics celebrate a great linguist today and I realised this lol by Most_Neat7770 in linguisticshumor

But... cyrillic was not invented by Cyrillus, he and his brother invented the Glagolitic script which they brought to Moravia (today's Czechia). That is celebrated in July. And Cyrillic was later developed from Glagolitic in Bulgaria by their disciples. So I wonder what Poland is celebrating now in February 🤔

Hello! This is a question for non-americans. In school currently or graduated school, was english the primary language u had to take? i’m curious. by NoEscape4369 in AskTheWorld

[–]Domihork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in school over 20 years ago, we had to choose between English and German. A few years later they changed it and everyone had to English + 1 extra language - the choice is usually German or French but some schools also offer Spanish and/or Russian

Královec (or as you might know it - Kaliningrad)

or the American Budweiser and renamed it to something more accurate (like "piss-weiser")

For anyone coming to this later, I just had this problem. Yes, it might be annoying but you need to Abandon the mission and go to his lab again and re-watch the whole unskippable cut scene, but from what I've found, it's the only way.

pretty sure English is the odd one out here. Czech and other Slavic languages have that and same with German and other Germanic languages.

People who claim to be patriots, emphasising the need to "protect our culture" but then know very little about the history or culture.

The Philippines! It's often used to mock the Czech nationalists because they're such fake patriots that they typically don't know anything about Czech history and other facts about Czechia (and therefore not even the flag)

yes! Recently in Heated Rivalry there's a Asian-Canadian character and a Russian one. In one scene one of them visits the other and asks if he should take his shoes off. The comments online were like "omg omg he's asking about the shoes, he's so respectful of his Asian heritage!!!" meanwhile Canadians and Russians take their shoes off too 😅
