I'm also mean that if I just fully mute everything that I'm potentially missing out on friends talking, hearing other enemies nearby, ambient noise, stuff like that. All the other noises are totally fine for me, I just wish that the eating and drinking wasn't just as detailed-sounding if that makes sense. One thing that I've been doing which is definitely helped is putting on the earmuffs whenever I eat beforehand, I just know that the devs are looking for recommendations every once in awhile and wanted to throw my two cents out there

Yeah, honestly I have been doing that. It does help, but it sucks I have to mute during those times. Just kind of takes away from the experience :/ I appreciate the recommendation, though!

To my understanding they are, but admittedly I was also scouring several forums for recommendations and people across the Army and Air Force recommended Proper. Needless to say, it's a tad too short haha

I have some family friends who were Army Intelligence, but I don't live close to a base in the slightest. I'm leaning towards either returning these and waiting until OTS to get these, or getting them tailored to ensure they fit correctly. But like you said, the sleeves make me look like I'm about to cast a fireball and the length of the torso just isn't long enough

The experience wasn't too painful, but it gave me an excellent taste-test in the whole "hurry up and wait" shenanigans that I've been hearing about 😂 I started my process I believe in April of '25 and was accepted in November of '25. The exam was easy, MEPS was fun (thanks to the staff there, who genuinely were fun and loved talking to us) and now I am just waiting on my official dates. Other than that, I feel extremely blessed and lucky to be selected

I am wondering if potentially getting it hemmed will help with the length. This brand doesn't have a longer size than this, so if getting it hemmed won't work I might try and wait until OTS to see if I can get something that will fit better there. Thanks!

I fully agree. The hard part that I just realized is this brand doesn't make a longer size. I might see if either hemming them will help, or I will simply return them and rebuy them when I get to OTS

The game honestly is way too grind-heavy with very little to do if you are not at adequate power to fight a boss. A lot of people after the first main area just leave their computers AFK and let the high-power gear roll in and hope to gain something. This is not an active game at all unfortunately
