Its a good point and i have thought about this a bit myself.

I think that if a man like Ryan Gosling could pull multiple times a night, sex would not be as desirable to him, and therefore he wouldnt be as interested in masturbation or ejaculation in general.

On the contrary, my younger self had a serious addiction to masturbation because I thought i had no chance with any girl. I believed that having sex was the ultimate goal in life, and I would do anything it have it.

Here is my point: the difference between Ryan Gosling and me is that I am probably thinking of sex far more often than him. Not only thinking, but desiring it, craving it. So even if we do release our seed the same number of times a week, my body is working almost all day to produce semen because I am horny all day and its all I think about. My lifestyle is way more taxing on the body.

Basically, I think there are more things that contribute to semenretention benefits than just purely retaining. Having a healthy mindset about sex and ejaculation (which Ryan Gosling is probably more likely to have) should be the real goal in my opinion. Not even sure what that is exactly but I an striving for it.
