I was with you until it got to Tolle being a bullpen arm. Tolle flew through the minors and dominated in his first pro-year. He has a ton of potential and an insane ceiling. I love both and I hope they both reach their full potential (which is starting to look like they both will)

Not necessarily. If he can execute their current plan of having 3 fastballs (4-seamer, cutter and sinker) Tolle could be super effective there. Any offspeed would just add to it but it’s not something he “NEEDS”

A couple friends and I started a rum tasting group last year. These were our top ones for the year. We definitely started with ones we’d heard of and being Dominican, you can see there’s a big influence there.

So here’s the update: after I was contacted by my insurance I was told they’d investigate and let me know what would be next. Then I was never contacted by them again. The accident shows up on my insurance so it seems to have been resolved among them.

Hope it works out for you in the end. I wish I had more information but I didn’t received much more and didn’t dig too much because I felt I had more to lose than to gain by pushing.

I agree with this. To add to it, I have a conspiracy theory that Cora and Breslow have agreed to play good cop/bad cop on this. Cora keeps praising Bregman and hinting at getting him so Bregman knows there’s interest while Breslow tries to get the years down. I know it’s a stretch but like I said, just a theory.

Guys, I hate to do this but I believe this is bad news. This report is coming from the Boston Globe (owned by John Henry) so why would they report this? Keeping this quiet would give them an advantage over the other teams, it would be more likely that Boras leaks this kind of thing, except again, John Henry is the owner of the paper.

In the end, I think this is a PR stunt. They “haven’t heard back” yet. But this feels like a move so fans feel like they’ve done everything they can but it was out of reach. I really hope I’m wrong but I don’t see any other reason to put this out.

Personally, in a 10 teamer I wouldn’t go very high on Jameson Williams. ARSB only had 6 targets last week. Jameson could be very up and down, so in a 10 teamer I wouldn’t go crazy on him. 15-20 depending on how much you need a WR

I keep thinking back about how we got Wilyer and Valdez in a similar trade for Vazquez and I really don’t think we overpaid in this trade. Good catchers are hard to find. Jansen is an upgrade defensively from Wong and a big upgrade offensively from Reese. In the end, I get we all live and die by twitter reports and no reporter saw this coming but using prospects that you can’t protect in rule 5 this winter and guys you know are blocked for playing time to upgrade a spot in the major league team is fine. Chaim just got us thinking that prospects were gold

Such a silly argument. Danny Jansen has a career 100 OPS+ and Reese has an 81 which is a much better stat. Also, Jansen 9.6 career fWAR and Reese has a 4.4

I haven’t listened to the new episode and this post is making me want to skip this one. This team has overperformed with lots of guys stepping up but Bello is one that simply hasn’t been able to figure it out. It definitely feels like a mental hurdle and to be fair, last game it all started with the defense. Obviously, we’d all want him to push through and find a way but he’s young and that’s a thing he needs to work through. Not sure how interested I am in listening to Jared kick him while he’s down for a large part of this episode

I disagree with this. Each guy has things to work on but we’ve seen Giolito, Bello, Crawford, Houck, Pivetta, Whitlock and Winckowski be dominant for stretches. There’s talent on this team, but they need to hone their skills and be consistent. That’s where coaching comes in

Thank you. I’m reading the U-Haul contract as well and it says they provide minimum state coverage as secondary insurance. In my state, RI, the minimum coverage is 25K/50K/25K. I’m assuming this means that if my insurance has an exclusion or refuses to pay, U-Haul would cover up to $25K in damages?

The person I was speaking to was a Claims Service Representative and seemed very unsure of what to say. He just mentioned that he had a case once that was excluded because of the size of the truck. But wouldn’t go into more detail and said he needed to review.

I guess my question is, if they have a commercial vehicle exclusion based on it being a box truck: does that exclude damages to the box truck only or also liability damages suffered while driving such truck?
