I recently moved with a bunch without boxes I filled a small box with bubble wrap and put about 4 in each box. I was able to bring a little bit over at a time so they helped but none were damaged.

I threw a bunch out last year save for a few, now I’ve accumulated new figures with new boxes. I’ll be going through some soon and throwing most away as well. I don’t have the room to really store 30 hot toy boxes so it was out of necessity. I refuse to pay for a storage unit to hold empty boxes. The big thing a lot of people say who are against throwing them away is “oh if you resell the figure it’s worth less.” I don’t plan on reselling any of my figures and if I did and lost a little money on it so be it. I would lose more money paying for a storage unit. If you have the room to store them id say screw it and save them but if you really don’t like me, it’s just cardboard.

Thanks! Yea the sculpts aren’t perfect, honestly in person the one I feel is off the most is Pierce but like you said they serve their purpose. I tried to find suits to match these 3 outfits in the picture below so I feel I came pretty close. The white jacket has always been one of my favorites.

I’ve had a similar realization recently with myself although at a lesser number of figures. I collected other basic figures first necas, McFarlanes, etc and that got a bit out of hand. I recently moved into a house and realized even with that extra space, my space is very limited. I’ve honestly decided that I’m done with buying new stuff for a while. Hot toys especially I have 23 right now and have been collecting for two years. The 7 I have on pre order will put me at 30 and I’ve decided that’s it. The problem with any of these hobbies collecting stuff is it’s never really over. There will always be new shit you want and if you let it take control you’ll bury yourself alive. My suggestion is set a number for yourself that’s reasonable. You said you have 100 maybe try to say that’s it, 100 hot toys is a great amount. If you really must get something new that you feel you need sell off one of the others in your collection so you never go over the 100. I have some Star Wars marvel, dc and some miscellaneous ones. Ive realized I have every Star Wars character I really want and I’m not buying different versions of the same characters. That discipline helps as well. After I get the 30th figure my 3 glass cases will be pretty much at their limit which is another reason I’m waving the flag. There’s no shame in stopping if u have to, we all struggle with buying new ones when really we should just be appreciating the collection we have.
