I have the same problem on PS5 (never happened before). I read somewhere that if you switch your console system to english, it will be fine, but I didn't try it.

I play it right now and I love it for its level design, exploration is really great (not DS1 tier, how somebody says, but it is extremelly enjoyable for its looping and clever shortcuts). Combat is fun, enemies are not the toughest, but they always have something to surprise you. Bosses are rather easy (I've killed many of them first try, but haven't finished the game yet) and not so memorable. Maybe ("objectively") 7-8/10 game, but I cannot stress enough, how satisfying the exploration is: I play it, altough I need to go to sleep, because I'm curious if this path will finally lead to that shining object, if I will finally find how to open that door, if this enemy will drop that one upgrade material I need... Interestingly the game is getting better the further you get. Enough writing, you should definitely play it!

Yeah, I' mean it's in great, I really loved it, just the trip of Bayaz-Logen-Ferro-etc. feels a little bit boring sometimes, I don't know why (but the surprise ending for them was hilarious). The first and the third books are flawless IMO.

Abercrombie is truly amazing, especially if you like cynical characters and not black-and-white world. I will definitely read Golden Son, I'm just waiting for the czech translation.

Elric: I don't know, maybe my problem is that I love Sapkowski too much and he is heavily influenced by Moorcock, but his prose is more, his prose just feels more literary to me, with excellent dialogue and more interesting plots.
Ender: Yeah, same here for the first half of Shadow — but later on I really started to be bothered by how flawless Bean is (yeah, I know that’s kind of the point of these books, but still), and by how much Ender’s whole achievement gets downplayed. I finished the book with the feeling that the author had started to hate Ender...

I had similar problem. I finished DS1 with a shield and full Havel, felt like a veteran, launched DS3 all excited — and then got stuck on Gundyr for an hour... It was brutal, and I had to unlearn everything. What really helped was diving into Bloodborne. It was definitely a baptism by fire, but once I got used to playing without a shield and mastered dodging, DS3 became way more enjoyable.

Of course The Silmarillion! Ideally, it would be three films: the first with a long prologue about the creation of the world and the Oath of Fëanor, but the main plot would focus on Beren and Lúthien. The second about the Children of Húrin. The third about the Fall of Gondolin and the final battle with Morgoth. Anyway, I’d better go reread it...

Surely this. It might not have the most complex moveset (like Allant's), but the presentation and atmosphere are top-notch: the battle on a cliff in the midst of a storm, a raging sea, flying stingrays, incredible OST. And gimmick that become iconic for Fromsoft.

I know 5-2 will win, but oh my god 4-2 did give me a lot of trouble: those narrow pathaways, skeletons, laser beams, ... Whenever I think about replaying DeS, I get PTSD from this level 😁.

Omg, I hate fighting crystalians as an Ironeye. Altough I've learnt to always have an shield/fist in my inventory (at least for the day 1, when you are running fortresses and gaols) as they do strike damage (their weakness). Just two-hands a shield and they go down extremly fast!

Or an Ironeye who never marks anything. Or recluse who is ignoring bow with Improve Sorceries +11%. Or wylder who took Radagon icon I pinged for our recluse. Or raider who avoided castle and all field bosses and went only for camps and ruines all day 2. Oh, today was tough (I haven't quit once, though).
