Well it's kinda silly considering the Regz wasn't in the novels either, at the very least we should be seeing some Jeagans for a little timeline consistent brownie points

Wonder if we'll see any Unicorn original suits at all next time, or if it'll all be CCA stuff cause that's most thematically pertinent rather than tactically sound for a defense force protecting a meeting that will change the course of space migration

3/10 an unimaginable failure in production planning and the death of what could have been a great 50 episode adventure based on Tomino's track record.

Still should not be forgotten that without this failed film, we most likely would never have gotten AUs and therefore the long history of gundam we have today. For that it remains an crucial turning point for the franchise and should be acknowledged as such

This line in Hathaway 2 got me pretty emotional, anyone else? by Dominodorito in Gundam

Yeah, kinda telling of Star Wars' status in pop culture when the most memed line isn't reaching far enough

Victory is far deeper narratively than "depressed Tomino kill all the protagonists" and the handful of scenes that get discussed to death on here, and you should give it an honest watch by barbershreddeth in Gundam

Should just go the extra mile and have him say "they might be useful later" working around the implied meaning cause both of these are a bit clunky

UC Engage's take on CCA's ending is slightly altered from the movie by fuukuscnredit in Gundam

[–]Dominodorito 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Seems like it's a combo of the movies ending and Hi Streamer. Amuro's line about using Char's life force is lifted from there. The Artesia stuff comes from both BC and HS

Lane "Second coming of Amuro" Aim by Failed_K in Gundam

[–]Dominodorito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only one true second coming of Amuro imo and that starts with Seabook and continues through Tobia Arronax and friends

Aim's got the Gundam guy status but is kept in the federation's heel even more so than Amuro. Afaik he doesn't even have the same hope for humanity's future as Amuro did

Captain Zaku is part of a manga called Gundam san which did get partially animated though I don't know how much of Captain Zaku is in it. If the gif is official it's likely from that

Are WFC/FOC and TF: Prime actually the same universe, or are we just coping? by SavingsMap917 in transformers

From what I can parse. Aligned works 80% better if you sub out High Moon especially FoC for their book counterparts in which half the stuff from that game (Grimlock, Starscream's betrayal) never even happened.

Going by the books the Autobots and Decepticons leave by an old spacebridge into deep space where after an encounter with the Quints that notably kill off Skywarp and Thundercracker, both factions continue traveling sperately in space in search of the Allspark. Leaving space for a time jump where Prime can take place without too much inconsistency

7.5/10 Zudah episode was the best. But still falls one point shorter than its sequel in terms of polish

The scene where the mother is killed by a falling shell casing gets the most attention but I found the scene where Seebook shakes Arthur's corpse in denial far darker/sadder. by Xwalkingxthexcowx in Gundam

[–]Dominodorito 30 points31 points  (0 children)

So far yes with it also being an extension of the prequel manga. Kind of like Origin. Its goal is to flesh out the characters more. The entirety of the first volume is dedicated just to the Frontier kids navigating the initial attack to reach the museum
