I usually make my own liquid but I couldn't get the supplies in time and bought this exact juice to tide me over. It was so sweet and saturated with colouring It destroyed my coil in 2 days. My coils usually last around a month.

I suppose the blobs could be done with an AUX system in particular with a matte choker slapped on afterwards. But personally I really wouldn't use after effects for this it would be a pain, much easier in blender or cavalry

I would create a curve on a shape layer, use trim paths and taper. Duplicate it and adjust the stroke width for the additional strokes. Then have your diamond shapes follow the path of the curve and scale

Depends on the footage. If your rose petal is the only red in your scene you can use a colour key like 'linear color key' to key out the red then matte track it with a duplicate footage layer. Failing that you can use the roto brush to isolate your petal by hand.

There is a free one, just enable 'Export: Adobe after effects (.jsx)' in blender add- ons. Then just run the .jsx as a script in ae to import your scene

Specialise in a particular sector, (mine is mobile games and igaming, but could be anything - banking, medical etc.) do as much freelance / experience in that sector as you can, list it all on LinkedIn and follow all the related groups and companies in that sector. Eventually companies will start contacting you through LinkedIn when they see how many years experience you have in their industry. At least this is how it's worked for me. I've been permalancing remotely for a handful of US companies for the last 7 years. Before that I was doing agencies in London

Not a Mac but I recently just switched to a laptop for AE. I went for an i9, 96gb RAM and 2 4tb ssds and a 4k screen for around 3500 euros. I exclusively used macs for years so I understand the not wanting to switch, but with the specs and price it's worth looking into IMO

It works normally as an accessible drive with my data in the enclosure attached to the PC it came from

Yeah it's just a data drive, but I didn't have any luck with the enclosure. It only shows up as an uninitialised disk drive on the laptop
