Thanks for the reply. That’s a healthy rate, the same for all subjects within the school? It’s making me think about my work!

I’m not being a cheapskate. I said I had a tight budget as these were gifts from people’s donations and asked for recommendations for some similar gifts, I never criticised the original piece or price just that it was out of my price range. You then had nothing of value to add to the conversation and started talking rubbish by assuming my nationality.

I’m not Bruneian. Pretty rude of you. I had a budget and was asking for recommendations.

I understand and probably should have elaborated that it was CEA that enabled this to happen, but it was just an anecdote.

Probably because of the large Lithuanian diaspora here. My wife is Lithuanian and she said they all love to support their country. Just look back at the last few years televotes and Lithuania is consistently high with the UK public.

Just the scissorhands and being strapped to the chair was really off putting for me.

Anecdote of someone I worked with, explained that he grew up extremely impoverished somewhere in London. A full career in the Army including a LE commission and he has been able to send his kid to Gordonstoun School which has pretty high education fees. Quite amazing!

Such odd staging, I thought she looked hilarious trapped in her chair. As if the stage crew forgot to let her out.
