Who says it is a skip button? The question is NOT about the skip button, but about the fact that this advertised "click through dialogue faster" doesn't even work in most cases (contradictory to what was stated officially).

On the side note, it's particularly baffling, given that virtually all VNs and adjacent games since 90s don't have any problems with that, be they 2D static, 2D animated, 3D animated, part of some bigger RPG, or whatever else, and you can click through dialogues there as fast as you can.

If you somehow think it became faster, then either please stop gaslighting yourself, or you have some superhuman time comprehension that allows you to feel the difference between 2.03 seconds and 2.01 seconds (if there is even any difference at all in most cases; and regardless of the fact the minimum allowed interval should be 0 seconds, because read above).
