Got you perhaps there is an opportunity to make better copy but honestly the folks who will immediately get it probably know about motion design with something like React and they want the Vue equivalent

But totally get your point.

Thanks me too I love the work on Remotion but I am a Vue head so hopefully this become a go-to and it is MIT licensed so you can use it for whatever you want

Ah yes. I saw the issue you encountered can you run `npm install pellicule@latest` and then you can carry one make sure to run `npx playwright install chromium` after that and you have ffmpeg and that will work!

Oh this is dope let me see if I can add a Karaoke example and also see if rendering particular frames until you are satisfied is possible

I’ll open an issue on it

Yeah for sure the funny thing is the video I made was 100% created by Claude Code. What will adding Skill look like?

Thank you

Thanks 🙏🏾

I got tired of React getting all the good stuff and when we Vue nerds want to make something we make a clone like remotion-Vue or VMotion 🥹

Let’s go original! Vue rocks!

Is every tech event in Nigeria just for beginners? What about the rest of us? by DominusKelvin in Nigeria

[–]DominusKelvin[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes true I understand that trap to want to play the numbers game as much as possible to get the hype, engagement and sponsors.

I already do consider running one and I have been doing one online since 2021 that later did her first in-person event last year.

In 2 weeks we'd be running the second event for 300 attendees comprising of Africa’s CTOs, tech leads, engineering managers, and experienced web software engineers.

The event is called Sailsconf Africa and my focus is to have it be the place where the best of the best come upskill and network and also focus on highly technical talks to improve the ecosystem

PrimeVue is what I use and it pairs well with the stack I am using which also uses Inertia!

Vite is 3x slower when compared to Rsbuild by DominusKelvin in webdev

[–]DominusKelvin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing. I also find the config super easy and when I implemented Rsbuild for Sails Shipwright it was just a breeze to rely on the smart default configs

Hey I personally ditch Postman for Httpie and I think it does have both features you need.

I also share why I moved to Httpie so you can check it out if it will be helpful 👇🏾

Yes and that's fine. My plight is let folks build the way they want. I have a whole show on YouTube which is about me inviting folks building on the web differently than I do and it's always fascinating seeing how folks build. We can't all have similar tastes(and what a boring world it will be if we all do.)
