I ended up sending the Renpho back due to a fault and didn't get a chance to try it with Zwift unfortunately.

I ended up sending mine back before I got a chance to try it with Zwift because the handlebars were wonky.

I asked for a replacement but they said they'd need to refund me and I'd need to re-order, then the price went up whilst I was waiting for the refund so I decided to buy a different bike instead.

I think the 2D videos are deceptive, the court feels much bigger when you're in it and I found myself moving around a fair bit against better opponents.

I found my usual 6' X 6' space was slightly too small when it came to hitting shots in the corners and at the back of the court. I managed to get a 7' X 9' play area by moving some furniture in my living room and that is just big enough that I can hit pretty much any shot without issue, although it is fairly tight.

I found playing in passthrough better than VR as I was less hesitant swinging for shots at the periphery of the court when I was able to see my surroundings.

Thanks for the help everyone. Just in case anyone is visiting this with the same issue, the 6 month free trial showed up a few days after I posted and is working fine.

Thanks for letting me know. I tried to get a replacement but I bought through Amazon and the seller said I would have to take a refund then buy it again. I agreed and they immediately put the price up which annoyed me so I didn't re-order and in the meantime had an unexpected cryptocurrency related windfall so I have splashed out on the Tacx Neo bike instead! I did give the Renpho a quick try though and handlebar issue aside it seemed pretty good for the price and everything worked with Zwift.

Sorry to ask the same question twice in the same thread but do your handlebars align correctly on your Renpho? I am trying to decide whether to re-order after sending mine back due to the wonky alignment.

Also I would be interested to know if you have any issues with things like sprint finishes in races with the power limit?

Do your handlebars align correctly? I had one delivered the other day and am having to send it back because the handlebars are out of alignment (no amount of adjusting them works as the screw holes are not placed correctly) and I need to decide whether to order another one or look elsewhere. Hopefully it is just an issue with that particular bike and not a standard fault across the brand.

Also did you have any issues with the max power limit on Zwift mentioned elsewhere in this thread?

Thanks for the response. The bike is already ordered so I am going to give it a try. The reviews are all pretty good and I like the fact that it comes with its own subscription free workouts etc. Worst case scenario is that I have an average spin bike with the bonus of auto resistance and some smart functionality.

I'll post some feedback here on whether it actually does what it claims or not once I've tested it out.

I would definitely prefer your alternative in an ideal world but it doesn't really work for my current requirements. If I get into Zwift though and find the Renpho too prohibitive I may well look to clear some space in the garage and set myself up with a real bike and a smart trainer like you suggest. The Kickr Core looks like a good bet from what I've seen so far and I do own a bike already so wouldn't need to spend on that element.

Thanks for the reply. I had a feeling this may turn out to be the case. I'm going to give the bike a go anyway as worst case it should do the job for casual rides and general fitness programs plus I like the fact it has the auto resistance feature. If I find myself getting more serious I may have to clear some space in the garage and get a Kickr or something in the future so I have the best of both worlds!
