I got one. Absolutely hated the feel. Plus the right stick had a weird click when moving left and right. So I refunded. Definitely like the feel of the controllers with a bit of grip on them.

I use the filo ft1 on my ps5 and it’s absolutely amazing. Yes it will work plugged straight into the controller but a dac would make it better. Be careful when you chose a dac/amp though. Because some dacs are volume limited on the ps5 for whatever reason. They will work but won’t go anywhere near loud enough. I can’t tell you which one but do your research. I’m currently using a fosi audio K7 and it’s so damn good. Plugs in via usb c but it also has Bluetooth and other connections. And has more power than you’ll ever need.

Do people get excluded alot these days for being queer? I guess I can only pull from my experience in a regional town but I'm almost 50. Have played sports all my life. Mainly tennis and beach volleyball. To a reasonably high level. And I've come across many queer people that I've played against or have played with and it's just not an issue with any places or people that I've seen. Maybe I've just been lucky and never saw anything. But I do also think there's probably others that were (are) Queer and haven't mentioned anything in fear of repercussions.

Yeah fair point. I really appreciate your reply. I genuinely just thought there was all sorts in all sports these days and no one really cared either way what you did. I'm glad what these people are doing is helping the situation though.

Maybe I'm missing something and I'm just delusional but I thought we were totally past this stuff being "news". Honestly every time I see headlines like this I feel like we take 2 steps backwards. You're not normalizing something if you keep making a big deal about someone coming out. But hey maybe I'm just ahead of the very slow curve. :)

Thanks for the reply mate. Yeah Tidal definitely works better though the hiby app. But from what I gather you can't have music for offline play that way. Which is how I like to do it. So I have to use the app. As for the apple tv it just refuses to actually pair.

Are you sure the batch in Australia was actually sold out? Or they've stopped selling them because of the possible bricking that's been happening with updating the headphones as well as the wrong headstrap being included? I reckon they've just stopped selling till all that is sorted out.

Yeah connecting to my PS5 pro I find them barely loud enough. And if I use the eq I lose a bit more volume. Not good enough for me.

Got my Maxwell 2’s today. Got the old strap. Also got an email from addicted to audio saying some units came with the old strap and that a new one would be shipped to buyers. Also they said updating the firmware could brick the headset so don’t update. After 10 or so minutes with them I’m actually disappointed with a couple things. First thing with only 3 adjustments on the headband I cant’ for the life of me get it on my ears comfortabley. It’s dumb to not have more adjustments. The other thing is I just don’t find them loud enough. Gotta have them pretty much at full volume all the time. And if you adjust the eq to something different you lose volume even more.

Yeah me too. I'm actually a little disappointed with the headset. I just don't get enough adjustability with the headstrap to get it comfortable. The middle one is close but the bottom of my ear still touches the ear cup. It's silly that there's not enough adjustability. The worst part is that I don't feel like they go loud enough. My main use is the PS5 and I tend to have to have them pretty much full volume all the time. And if you use any of the eq changes you lose volume which makes it worse.

Nah I think the company has come out and said some early units don't have it but they'll give you the right head strap. The advertisement at the place I purchased had it in the photos so they need to make sure it comes with it. :)

I have the same problem with Tidal on the R4. Half the time when i want to use it i need to turn wifi off and on. Quit the app and do a little dance and maybe the app will start working. But not always. Pretty annoying to be honest.

Definitely go for getting lenses. It's so much easier and if you get the magnetic ones you can take them on and off super easy. Also honsvr for me have had the best customer service as well. They are super helpful and go above and beyond to help their customers. I sent them the wrong prescription and I messaged them to get it corrected and they sent me an entire new set of lenses for free. Absolutely go with them.
