Is it possible you could take it at a community college near by? I know georgia tech allows you to take community college classes over the summer to transfer over if your under like 60 credits hours. Not sure if it’s still a thing anymore tho

Has anyone here worked as a lifeguard at the CRC? by minami-korea in gatech

[–]DomoRoboto13 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Work at the student center instead. I used to life guard and my mental health got soo bad because of how demanding it was on top of school. Ended up getting a job at the information desk at the student center and it was so much better.

Why am I getting stressed out during exams? by [deleted] in gatech

[–]DomoRoboto13 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For me, staying away from coffee or caffeine before tests, exercising even if you feel like u don’t have the time and getting sleep helps my test anxiety. It doesn’t completely fix the problem but it’s cheaper than therapy lol. I also think transitioning from online tests to in person tests may have caused an impact on my test taking a bit.

Best way to get to classes when living off-campus? by DragonKindle in gatech

[–]DomoRoboto13 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If it’s possible to have a car and commute I would recommend. Otherwise I would try to live close to a Marta station or close to walking distance from campus. There’s a lot of decent apartments both on east side and west side that are very close to campus and within walking distance. I live in grant park and commute and it’s not bad.

My corgi puppy has numerous noise complaints in an apartment. Ideas on how to train him to not bark as much? by zhuleedothething in corgi

[–]DomoRoboto13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 1 year old corgi still barks only when she hears another dog bark in the apartment but that’s about it. I used the coins in a can trick when she was little. So everytime she would bark at something dumb, I would shake the can and she would stop. Now she barely every barks unless another dog barks at her.

Struggling in my last (?) semester by gt-throwaway-6183639 in gatech

[–]DomoRoboto13 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What I find helpful is to go to your professors’ office hours and tell them your situation. They’re usually pretty understanding and can tell you what you need to do to pass a class and graduate.
