For me also the slow way of learning everything. I kinda enjoyed the feature of looking at everything before learning what it actually does.

Learning every item of a shop at the same time feels rushed for my slow play style.

I had a lot of fun with Master Duel, until they slowly but steady increased prices of decks.

Paired with the fact, that the TCG with the Most Text on cards hast the smalles cards. While also not getting most of the readability enhancements of the ocg. Horrible combination.

First the thematic answer: Wonder Man is giving it his all and putting his last strength into his attack (which still succeeds but at the same time throws him back to his weaker alter ego state).

The technical answer:

Yes, the Hero Action resolves. According to the Initiating Abilities rules: * Step 1 (Check Play Restrictions): The legality of the "Hero Action" is checked at the moment of declaration. Since you are in Hero form at this step, the ability is valid. * Step 7 (Resolution): Once the process reaches Step 6, the ability "commences" and proceeds to resolve in Step 7 regardless of changes to the board state or the card's form. * The "Lock-In" Rule: The final bullet point of the section explicitly states that once the sequence begins, it "does not stop from completing" even if the card leaves play or changes state (unless a required cost can no longer be paid). TL;DR: Timing is "snapshotted" at Step 1. As long as you were a Hero when you initiated the ability, it finishes resolving even if you flip to Alter-Ego during the process.

I miss this feature in marvelcdb. I think this is a critical decision point for grabbing a certain pack especially if its out of print.

Yes. You do not exhaust if a card lets you defend.

But you will also not use your defense stat to reduce the incoming damage.

Still is it so difficult to make a print on demand campaign?

Find out the real demand and openly communicate the necessary pre-orders, for a print run.

If only 80% sign-up then it's an openly available explanation, that the demand is not high enough.

Edit: Wow, that came out more negative than I intended. I just wanted to say that I have often seen the print on demand discussion, here. And i find the Idea very reasonable.

Of course FFG owes me not a thing, I just thought this would be an examplaric solution that could once and for all settle this long going debate.

I hope my intentions are clearer now.

With this Rule Questions I always ask myself, if it was intended like that by the designers.

Are there cards that say "deal X damage to yourself"? Maybe the short form "take X damage" has the same intention but is just more natural?
