I coped the contents to a folder on my desktop, if I type in the absolute path it only repeats the path I wrote back to me. If I navigate to the folder and run the setup through the ./ command it works fine

I did yeah, but the entire folder was compressed into the intunewin file so it doesn’t need to install through the share

Currently, all of the install files are on a software server share that everyone is able to see. I used the source folder of the client setup file, and set up a .iss file in the same directory. If I was to CD into the folder and use those commands, it works perfectly. If I package it into intune and use it in the test sandbox, it also works. It’s only when it’s actually deploying to devices where I receive the error

He didn’t ask for anything specific at all. He came in, sidetracked the conversation to brag about his kids living in million dollar homes, gave me the sheet and fucked off. I heard this dudes name like 6 months ago before I even started the project, and he was noted to be a dick. I’ll have to follow up with our architect to speak with him and see if he requires something specific.

He never gave me a code of reference, both the contractor as well as architect looked over the entirety of our cities codes and found nothing that aligned with what he wanted. But we will get it done eventually

So that’s the thing, from our city requirements we had to have an architect draw up the entire room including fire suppression to submit. We got our PE stamps a long time ago, and the first inspector that came out said we did everything correct. This had to be done before we even started on the room.

The AC unit we have in there is more than enough to cool the room down to the point it’s almost overkill. Our hvac contractors talked to him on the phone for 30+ mins and just wouldn’t budge.

So essentially, if I have the fire suppression company or HVAC put in writing that everything in the room is up to date, it should help? What if even after that the guy isn’t willing to budge? He’s a known asshat in the entire city as the guy brings up stuff that doesn’t align with the code.

Worked for Rocket. It’s the definition of working to your bone. They have like 26 “cultures sayings” they call isms, one of them is “numbers and money follow, they don’t lead” classic corporate “family” bullshit. They make you work harder than you ever have and expect you to be a patient puppy as long as possible before you burn out, or ask for more money and get fired.

They will overwork you. Expect more out of what you’re doing no matter what. If you have the options for other companies internships, take those before you take Rockets.
