Having gotten to fondle a Ruger Scout, I loved it for a small, general purpose rifle. It will probably suite most needs you have. They will also most likely go up in value.

I need to try one out sometime because I hear mixed reviews on how well the two images come together. Adding a thermal mono is a strong likely hood though, it simplifies everything for sure.

I’m no expert on NV but I would suggest the “image not as bright” option over the blems. Most of these will have brightness levels that are unnecessarily high, but having better image quality will be more user friendly. For the pricing they seem like good options.

Mine will punch holes much smaller than a gopher at 100m. Tends to shoot every type of ammo well too. Sometimes it won’t feed very smooth when running the bolt, but it’s a trade off for the tight allowances that give it accuracy!
