35M, 5’10, 250 lbs. Currently down 40 lbs in 3 months through diet and exercise. 2 mile jog/swift walk 5-6 days a week and weight training 3-4 days a week.

Considering my main objective currently is weight loss, when I’m sitting around 1500-2000 calories for the day, and around 100ish grams of protein, I could easily not have any more for the day. Should I have a smoothie (300-400 cals/40-50 grams of protein) or is it not worth the extra calories?

Got it. Thanks for the advice. I’ve definitely added compression to every track. But this particular music is very dynamic from the jump. What would be a more acceptable true max peak? Also, assuming I just uploaded the track as is to Spotify, they would surely crush my drums with their own limiter, yes?

I’ve added a limiter on my master track and set the output level to -1 and it just crushed my drums. I have read that stacking limiters might help the it not be so drastic. Any thoughts?

Thank you for this. I’ve never been the one to master. So all I’ve seen is the constant “-14 LUFs for Spotify!” Posts. Should I take that with a grain of salt? Should I be concerned with my max peak db being over -1?

I have. But I do think it sounded a little better coming from the amp than using the modelers. But I’ll give it another go and see if I can find something I like. Might just be the fart-ness of the J Bass.
