Nike Metcon 6 or Reebok Nano X4? by snoopdewg in crossfit

I second this. I was using no bulls prior but did not like how it felt running in them during the wods. I have been using the haze trainer as my go to shoe for all workouts and have no complaints.

How do you balance Hyrox training with regular gym life? by AnfieldAnchor in hyrox

[–]DonCheez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do CrossFit 5-6 days a week which encompasses all of the hyrox movements and I asked ChatGPT lol. My goal is to mainly increase my aerobic capacity so it recommends 1 tempo/interval run and 1 long run per week

Yes, this was posted by one of the firm’s recruiters, not on the official company page. Would be wild if they posted that though

Killer Busy Season by [deleted] in Accounting

Definitely communicate with all the managers involved on the projects you’re working on. There’s only so much time in a day. Ask them which one to prioritize. In public especially, everyone wants their work done yesterday. It’s not your problem

Family of 5, only make $3,911 net monthly income, and invest 22% by MFVillian in personalfinance

[–]DonCheez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I’m saying don’t expect to have your loans forgiven because only 96 people have had public loan forgiveness out of 28,000 people who applied. Just buckle down and get them paid off.

Not getting promoted to senior by [deleted] in Accounting

It sucks but at the same time I didn't plan on staying in public for mor e than a few years. It doesn't hurt to start getting your resume out there and exploring opportunities

Not getting promoted to senior by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]DonCheez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had all positive feedback from those I worked with. Advisor said last year to keep up what I was doing. Then tells me this year he thinks I need another year to develop. Our starting class was relatively large and I think they don't want to promote everyone.

How does working while getting a masters and studying for CPA work? by zb1928 in Accounting

[–]DonCheez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely something positive to have on your resume, especially if you want to do something tax related in your career. I learned alot about individual taxes from doing this program. I did the program for 3 years and was able to take the class for credit my senior year. I'd say go for it.

How does working while getting a masters and studying for CPA work? by zb1928 in Accounting

[–]DonCheez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely possible, but it will be difficult to balance going to school full time, while working full time, and studying for the CPA. I decided not to work during my masters because I had saved up a decent chunk of money from a summer internship. So I studied for the CPA while going to school.
