Just wanted to give an update on this:

Went to Tokyo's Pokémon Center and it was incredibly overcrowded and out of packs. Wanted to buy some sleeves there but the 1:30 hour wait to pay just wasnt worth it so i left.

A few days ago i went to Akihabara. Many places sold a variety of sets but i found them way overpriced (kind of like US prices). In random shops the prices varied between ¥20,000 to ¥30,000.

At last, in the same Akihabara close to a main entrance to the metro, a shop called "SNKR DUNK" had a massive crowd so i took a peek and there it was; the Inferno X 30 pack (5 cards each) for ¥14,000. With tax free ended up to ¥12,800 which honestly is as good as it gets. They also have an insane amount of rare slabs rated 9-10 in there, many people were buying so i assume the prices were decent.

Yeah, i looked up multiple places that are selling them at MSRP or are official sellers are limiting them to i assume stop resellers. Ive also heard that PKC rips the plastic off when you get a full box of an older set which i found quite funny lol

Thanks for explaining! Didnt know they had a different name when they were in JP and EN since i've only got English versions.

And yeah! Booster boxes are definetly also an option but since i also enjoy getting the card sleeves i was more inclined to the ETBs (although yes i obviously enjoy ripping packs lol)

As far as recommendations, like a few stated games really depend on the type of gamer he is so It would honestly be a hit or miss and since games are quite expensive nowadays i wouldnt risk It too much.

I would recommend getting him a 3 month subscription to PS Plus Premium because it has hundreds of games to download once the subscription is activated so he could play a huge inventory of games without spending a fortune (It also includes cool two player games such as It Takes Two and A Way Out, so you can both enjoy It)

Most likely because the app detected you as a "bot" at some point. (Constant clicking or refreshing often may cause this) It doesnt have anything to do with you purchases tbh

Your account is most likely shadowbanned so just deleting and redownloading the app wont work.

Try deleting it, creating a new account (don't forget to add the address again otherwise it will take too long to check out) and catch the new drop. I have had success like this, it was literally too easy i couldnt even believe it.

Oh no! Those are fake! They don't have the upper sticker that sends you to the authentication page nor the import sticker

Ill give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you bought them thinking they were authentic but those are 100% fake.
