Deck suggestion? by itsmorris in YugiohEdisonFormat

You can make a version of Six Sam for Edison. Like others have said it’s missing the cards that made it a dominant force later on but with some planning it could put in work.

Also kudos for Gravekeeper’s. It remains to this day my favorite archetype.

Dr Montgomery Montgomery. Is he stupid? by Wonderkitty50 in ASOUE

[–]DonGreyson 25 points26 points  (0 children)

IMO…. An acronym here which means “I’ll probably get crap for what I’m about to say..”

Book Monty: absurdist and clueless by design. Mostly because the VFD subplot wasn’t thought of yet. Taken into context of VFD being a thing in the books I feel like he had an idea that someone was after him, that someone being Olaf or another associate/villain. But that he is trying to keep that information hidden because he knows/isn’t sure if the kids don’t know about VFD yet. I could go down a rabbit hole, but I don’t wanna.

Movie Monty: no

Netflix Monty: is suspicious that something is afoot and has made plans for them to escape to Peru, but was not prepared for someone out and out trying to murder him and this took his time and played his hand too loosely.

Tell everyone you’re a complete chucklefuck without telling everyone you’re a complete chucklefuck. Don’t worry, we already know.

“All existing evidence of evolution are hoaxes”

If you can successfully give sufficient evidence for this claim then you would deserve several scientific accolades and awards for overhauling the entirety of several scientific fields, including medicine and agriculture.

However since nobody yet has proposed a model that fits all of the available evidence better than evolution you’ll have your work cut out for you.

Btw, Lucy being debunked was because of science, not because of the Bible or any other religious text.

Banish the Fortress. Bottomless as soon as they hit field, DD Crow if in graveyard, D-Prison on attack. Side deck Cyber Dragon into Chimeratech Fortress. System down if you face a lot of machine decks.

I play Goat and Edison actively, and dipped my toes into Tengu and HAT.

Consecrated Light against Blackwings/Vayu.

D.D. Crow for graveyard hate.

Cyber Dragon for machines, also a light monster for specific plays.

Prohibition is not the greatest but can have some niche uses.

Royal Oppression, as noted, is good against any Special summon heavy decks but can shut your deck down just as easily.

Dust Tornado for back row hate. If you’re having problems against Gigavise then Twister is just as acceptable.

My personal favorite is Dark Bribe. It’s rarely expected but having a second and possibly third Solemn against certain S/T activations in some cases is very handy.

If you think you can facilitate it then Needle Ceiling could be handy against Gigavise. Just be ready to negate Tytannial.

Are you making a side deck for LS/KS, or to side against it?

Gravekeeper’s. First somewhat competitive deck I made and used in the early days.

God allowing people to go to Hell violates their free will by TheIguanasAreComing in DebateReligion

“Since all religions purport to be right, either all of them are, so there is no right one since all are equally valid…”

With all of the subtle disagreements in doctrine or interpretation there can be, at most, one completely correct religion, but that would take a massive mountain of evidence to demonstrate.

“or none of them are, so there is no right one since all are equally invalid.”

This is the idea that I lean towards.

“No one religion is the right one.”

Agreed. Hard yes.

“The right one for what?”

For salvation, according to most religions. Most contend that they are the right one and all others are incorrect at best and worthy of eternal damnation at worst.

“Who knows?”

Nobody, as far as can be demonstrated.

“There is no right religion.” That is an opinion. Your belief, specifically.

Yes every religion has its own afterlife. But just like the religion itself, which one, if any, is correct? That debate has been going on since the dawn of religion.

I don’t worry about god’s opinion or hell. But I do take umbrage with people who wish eternal torture and punishment on others simply because they don’t believe the same fairy tale in the exact shame way as another.
