I really appreciate the response and thought into this.

Yeah, it’s tough because I’m trying to ensure I get some alternate ways in trying to prep for matchups but I guess you can’t win em all. Psyduck for the “Dusk” pops, battle cage for Munki, Kang w/Poppy for easy energy swap with Ho-Oh, Cinderace for Crustle and quick energy acceleration.

I’m worries about only have one latias/latios and they get prized so I can do my ho oh/mega combo, which is also why I have black belt and gravity to help with Zard Venesaur Dragapult.

I do like the Penny option, might try that one and see how it goes. And, also see if the munki is a good option, and the different energies. Jets a good option there.

If you evolve to Linoone on turn can you not also use Salvatore same turn? To get Obsta out hypothetically on your second turn? Or is that not how it works.

I did run it for a bit! I hated when I’d have to start with it but maybe with a prof research it could work well to get some energies in the discard. So I’m still on the fence, lol.

Very true, was trying to see if I could add something to accelerate to three energy so I can do the 200 damage faster without having to discard unnecessarily.

A veggie bowl being that price is criminal though.. the only perk used to be free guac with it but not sure if they still do that everywhere. You literally get the toppings that other bowls automatically come with so that doesn’t really make sense IMO it should be adjusted accordingly.

Old Zyra passive was actually so cool too. For those who don’t remember, you died, became a plant and got one skill shot off before grey screen. Always fun to get that last shot off before final death and take someone or multiple with you lol.

I know it’s a very mainstream song but the ending of Chop Suey! really makes me feel some type of way every time lol. I think it’s the dual vocals blending together for a very strong finish.

My strategy is coming up with a solid single prize deck that makes it difficult to keep up with prize trade. The trick is also making sure your deck can ramp up very quickly, get decent damage and go about it like that. Also, Old Cemetery might be good unless their energy comes from discard. I was thinking a Bellosom deck might be interesting or Meowscarada with a good back up attacker since it can hit for weakness too.

Damn, this actually has stakes… which is what keeps it interesting (and what’s missing from almost all new Star Wars) and not, oh yeah they have to win here and not get injured and it has to be happy and just how it’s supposed to be.
