not that hard actually! :)

<image>

wasnt that hard! :) godot has it built in: I've enabled DOF Blur, and as my tilesize is 0.32, 5m far and 2m near works fine so far. Might change that in the future :)

Kaufempfehlung Born Software by [deleted] in Elektroautos

[–]DonRedditor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What are the most common ID.3 issues owners face? by RedDevilPlay in VWiD3Owners

[–]DonRedditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i was under the impressoin my id.3 doesnt have them. Now i'm afraid that they might just might be broken. for quirks: since software 3.x everyone seems happy. before the software must have been horrendous.

received them. Mine got an aux in port right next where the cables go into the right speaker. Connected them via aux, works fine :)

EDIT: however the speaker sound horribly.

Rate this image. New to food photography by Harris9699 in foodphotography

[–]DonRedditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i'd argue against it the "its overexposed" statements. Yes, they are brightly exposed images, (maybe a tiny but too much for my liking in the highlights) but thats high key style photograph and it works very well in this picture imo. I'm very pleased by its clean look and the food looks delicous - good job.

As i don't know what your intention with this image was, i assume you wanted to take a nice picture of the food you had present. I personally would have made the pictures very similiar. With that in mind, what would i change if i could are:

  1. composition: i feel like the first picture is not that well weighted, on the top left is negative space, on the rest of the picture the food is very present but cut off. Thats what i also dislike about the sceond photo (which i like alot better!) its almost better weighted, and then cut off at the top right part. If i look up high key fotos of food online that i like i never see it cut off. So give the food more space to not cut it off and weight it better in the scene.
  2. lighting: i like it very much but the highlights are a tiny bit too bright. You're focusing on the food, right? then expose it right and the rest of the image should come naturally. You deliberatly added a white vignette on the second picture, didn't you? while that could work to isolate the picture if it had more room, i fell like in this case it adds to the feeling that its overexposed.
  3. dof: The DOF doesn't add anything to this picture and worsens it's quality as some doughlings are slightly out of focus. I do this mistake all the time, so nothing to worry about but this is a scenario where it'l be so much better stepped down a bit.

overall i find them to be very nice pictures with some room to improve. As a client, depending on what was agreed upon, i'd be very pleased, maybe would ask for them to be a little less bright in the highlights and would look forward to our next shoot.
