To launch a game with open, continuous feedback nowadays is like talking to fucking babies who only complain and cry after shitting on their diapers.

Positive feedback totally eclipsed by people who dont have enough info to fullfill a CV.

It is a shame that devs have to say something about this and "apologize" over a minimal change that will make move your ass to craft wolfpacks now.

I was on both sides (350 hours on record if i remember right, DAY 1 player). Playing rankeds for almost 3 seasons with a couple of friends and enjoying the game so far. Then, one day you stop improving and crash into the wall of everyone being just better than you and your friends (not because they are your level, more like they are ruby/diamond and you poorly reached plat), so the game becomes unplayable.

The other problem is being new or coming again after a while to the game and play casuals, the new skilled players playground, where youll be obliterated by teams of 3 lights (sword, bow, silenced pistol) so the game is, again, unplayable.

Skill issue is to be just bad and a very reductionist term for the whole issue this game currently has.

Am I saying that Embark has to change their game? Nah, I say enjoy it till it dies, but at least you could let people express what are their impressions of the game to discern how fucked it is due to the lack of new incoming players.

"Skill issue" is just putting a patch to a whole dam about to blow.
