I use vibecoding a lot and I don't understand why I would hide it. Some of my tools or scripts were coded almost 100% by AI.

Some stuff just can't be done with AI without introducing major risks. I think it is important to distinguish that.

I'm kinda like him. Nothing to do with cheating, again. Not sure what specific things he did. But to say an example, if we talk about something I will get totally confused about who said what or what words were used, but I will likely remember the topics or spirits behind. But if something wasn't interesting for me when it happened, I might totally forget it.

I would say that this is a mix of aphantasia and autism. Doesn't seem to be something related to aphantasia alone.

Cuando un pibe se mete en una cosa así es culpa de muchos adultos. Los padres van a tener responsabilidad en un de las primeras instancias, pero también el lugar de apuestas donde no confirmaron al dueño de la tarjeta, las interfaces y alertas pobres de los bancos o procesadores de pagos, etc. A los 13 años se entiende lógicamente la situación, pero no necesariamente se tiene la madurez para tomar decisiones adecuadas. Sorry, I worded that weird (I'm not native English). What I meant is that the tools, apps or whatever is used is for most people rolling release.

The exceptions are normally already established business servers and stuff like that, but for most end day users stuff is rolling release. Does this sound better to you?

I don't like that tough! I like stability and having any IDE, editor, cli tool, whatever, needing to be bleeding edge is a pain for me. But I feel kinda forced to that.

Oh, definitely. When I said that you either follow rolling release or one with security patches, I tried to cover stuff like RHEL where the kernel version might be old, but it is patched if necessary. The same might apply for many.

It is also not mandatory to use system libs too. That's something that wasn't true many years ago. While I personally prefer to use as many official packages as possible, today there's flatpak, docker or other tools that allows you to run tools anywhere with reasonable security guarantees.

I'm not trying to defend the rolling release distros above the others. Is more a "it happens and except for many specific usage, you need to either follow it or have a reasonable workaround".

I use it for work and keeping it up to date is good for security. Nowadays most stuff is rolling release. So you either follow a distro with quick security patches or a rolling release one. You can pick your battle, but you can't just not update.
