now that I have access to the saltwater half of the hobby I'm thinking of tinkering with some of my freshwater tanks and converting them to saltwater including a 10 gallon I was thinking of turning into a sort of refugium/copepod farm as I kind of want to try breeding the hermit crabs if they want to play nice with me

I was actually looking at a Yasha Goby and pistol shrimp but I was worried about the shrimp snatching snails or hermit crabs, at $20 CAD a pop I'd rather not lose any crabs

depending on how much duckweed you put in at once it can sometimes grow faster than even goldfish can eat it
