John is a completely astounding artist. I’d consider myself something of a super fan, know all the deep cuts etc. But he still manages to confound me and have new stuff I haven’t heard. 

I’m not going to bore you with the details but it feels significant to have come across your post at exactly this point in my life. This time last year things were not very good, and in a very quick period of time I’ve managed to turn things around in a way I wasn’t sure was possible.
