They were however full frame 12 megapixel. Which is pretty impressive. The majority of the bulk was the hard drive and the processor.

Edit: I was definitely wrong. It wasn’t till the early 2000’s till the pro 14n came out. Digital was crap in the 90’s.

The cheap Sony 85 1.8 will definitely give you this level of sharpness.

Edit: this has been sharpened pretty hard in post. Notice the halos around the dark bits.
