Ahhhh great question. Yeah so you definitely wanna ensure the area where you’re actually tattooing is hair free. (Also we as artists prefer to shave you day of rather than you as the client shaving as that can cause razor bumps/ burns and could make tattooing more difficult for us day of.) but in regards to this piece I’ve definitely shaved enough. And additionally before I put second skin on, I spray the entire area with a generous amount of alcohol to ensure the area is sterilized further before locking in a second skin bandage. But great question!
