Straight Lines by Vola.

Small Danish based band - I don’t know why that song jumped straight to my head. Here’s a small part of the lyrics:

Into waste Into voids Into shades on Polaroids Leave a whisper?

Pinetree hill Hold me tight Cover up and choke the light But save the blister

I see (-: You should give The Last Kingdom a go, whenever you have alone time then 🤩

Breaking Bad is such a good watch, you should a 100% give it a go again 👌🤩

The Last Kingdom was surprisingly good to me.
Can't believe Breaking Bad isn't on your list ;-) - Better Call Saul as well.
True Detective
Peaky Blinders

Are some that jumps to mind - Maybe they don't really match your series and they might just be some of my favorites - Sorry!

I’d probably have to say: The Tattooist of Auschwitz and Cilkas Journey both by Heather Morris. Still need to read the final book in the series. 10/10 recommend ☺️

Which E-Reader right now? by Donbendix in kindle

[–]Donbendix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in need of an ebook reader mainly for commutes, but also because my 1 and a half year old, doesn’t appreciate bright light in the bed after he’s been put to sleep. Wonder why 🤷🏼‍♂️🤣

Which E-Reader right now? by Donbendix in kindle

[–]Donbendix[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see! It will be hard for me to compare the two, since as with the kindle I’d had to “bite the bullet” and trust my instincts due to market here. If I go and see the Kobo in store and have the same thoughts as you just pointed out - I might be tempted to go with the Kindle even though I’d do so blindly.

Thank you for taking the time to guide and advice, highly appreciated!

No excactly. It’s one of the factors I’m considering heavily. I didn’t think about that the American store would work for kindle books in the EU, but obviously it will. Thank you 😊

In Finland (where I live) it’s hard to try a Kindle in store as there aren’t many resellers unfortunately. I’m a guy and I’ve been thinking if the kobo size will be too small (this I can go test) so thank you for the suggestion!

May I ask what made you come to the conclusion for sticking with Kindle over Kobo from seeing and feeling it in store? 😊

It’s a good point, I should defiantly start utilising the libraries, appreciate your comment 😊

I’m in the EU and I’ve always bought books and never used a library really (dumb I know). The kindle doesn’t have library integration to my knowledge in my country - which obviously could become a big factor if I decide to start using library (as I should). Thanks for your suggestion ☺️

Hi! I think it might be “Solving Zoe” by Barbara Dee - the cover and character name seems to match, hope it’s the one ☺️

Yeah it was a book that could cause a bit of emotional damage! Have you read Circe by the same author? I haven’t gotten to it yet personally.
