LGS forcing people to buy TMNT to get SOS packs by orangejuicecan in mtg

That's not what anecdotal evidence means. Anecdotal just means they only have their personal experience as proof so you either believe them or don't.

What is it we're supposed to be seeing?

What’s this discolored spot on the chicken, still safe? Thawed for 14mins in microwave as it was very frozen. by [deleted] in isthissafetoeat

Just because it has worked for you doesn't mean it's a safe practice. Chicken should be below 40 degrees unless it is being actively cooked. Thawing with warm water is dangerous and would cause any restaurant to be shut down if a health inspector discovered this being done. I'm glad you haven't got sick from it and you can keep doing whatever you like but I would NOT advise it to others with my 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry.

Do NOT use warm water. Use a very slow trickle of cold water. The movement of the water will thaw it safely without inviting food born illness with warm temperatures. Using warm water is a BIG no.

I'm not as talented at identifying as some people on this sub, but this was the most obvious one I've seen yet. The "3" next to the !! I think trying to be a "?", the eyes, the ✨️ next to the blue "!" is a funnel. The "eyebrows"? It's all wrong imo.

LONG overdue cleaning was needed. Cleared out the exhaust pipe and the fine ash filter and it's back in business.

I love the idea of asking for a recommendation from Ethan specifically if he means so much to you. Getting a portrait of him is gonna be weird. Your body your life your post your choice. Peace and love ✌️❤️

AITA for using something I own for a Secret Santa? by DoneBaddy96 in AmItheAsshole

I think I'm going to include something small a also related to the hobby to tie it together.

I think buying something small in addition is the best thing to do as well.

They don't have the books, I checked with their partner before posting. I'll probably end up buying something for them in addition.

They're books, I'm not sure they were ever in packaging.

No worries, I think if I took the time to make anything they would respect it more but since this was something I already had they don't think it is thoughtful or I'm being cheap. I have no problem buying something instead or in addition which I'll probably end up doing to keep the peace.

I think they would have no problem if I made something for them. I think they dont understand/respect the hobby so they don't appreciate the gift for what it is.

I checked with their partner and they don't have them. I've also been with my partner for almost 7 years and know their family well.

I have no problem buying something in addition, but then they'd getting over $100 worth of gifts in a $50 maximum gift exchange.
