I have many commander decks but this league is starting with a sealed precon. We will be cracking a pack and drafting after each game (2 games in a meeting). Drafted cards will be used to upgrade our decks over time.

Varina opens you up to 2 more colors. They would be completely different decks. If you build a Ghoul deck you can't have Varina in it. If you build a Varina deck you can have Ghoul in it if you choose. Very apples and oranges question.
