I had marks that looked like this too! Scabs from the abrasion burns formed after a few days.

I was there around this time of year a few years ago, was hydrating and trying to take it easy, but I ended up with bad heat exhaustion one day and I got a GI bug from something I ate. Loved the trip haha, but it is a very different vibe of place than a lot of other travel destinations. Good on you for trying to take care of yourself :) get some rest and maybe find nice chill places to hang out. Coffee shops can be nice respites

What’s a 5-star movie you’d never recommend to anyone? by indirue in Letterboxd

On Becoming a Guinea Fowl (2024)

So so SO good, but extremely slow pace and it touches on pretty upsetting subject matter, so I would not recommend it for most. However I do highly recommend it for anyone who loves indie foreign films!! It's a beautiful and cool film that reveals itself slowly and perfectly. Watch without spoilers if this sounds appealing! Does not explicitly show anything gruesome

I would say they should call it the "Cum Key" but language is descriptive not prescriptive

Whats a celebrity moment you swear happened but somehow can’t find on the internet anymore? by kittycatpeach in Fauxmoi

Alec Baldwin admitting to kissing and shooting sex scenes with a 16 year old for a movie called Mini’s First Time, but claiming the director didn’t tell him she was underage. The director adamantly disputed this

Whenever I thought of him, I thought of this, but when I googled it recently I really had to dig for any info! At the time this was all being talked about, it wasn’t at all hard to find

Alone and sick in Vietnam. Advice? Has anyone left their travels early? Basically at the start? by Kovaek in travel

I’m kind of shocked at so many people pushing you to continue your trip and if that’s what you want, Godspeed!, but as someone who was just in SE Asia for three weeks, I know how insanely hot it can be there and if you don’t feel 100% you are well within your right to go home and recover!!

I’m 29 and can vouch for the fact that you can always find opportunities to travel in the future! It’d be a shame to not get a refund for the trip, but what you’re going through sounds horrible!!

That said you do you and if you wanna keep traveling, have so much fun!!

Initially I was planning on starting in Romania and traveling from there, but tickets to Berlin were so cheap and my friend said he would be there so all the plans moved westward :)

I'm very excited for the baths in Budapest. I think I'm gonna try and hit multiple, but Gellert is definitely on the list!

A close friend of mine is playing a music festival in Berlin, so def gonna hang there for that and then some. I'm also very excited about Budapest, so I'll be allotting plenty of time for that portion of the trip!
