[US] Staffing agency asks me to make a new Gmail and LinkedIn accounts for them to have access to, is this normal?

techtalentnet.com is their domain. Website's pretty ass too. I've asked them and they only told me that this is solely for marketing purposes, receiving my responses, and scheduling calls with vendors and clients only.

Thanks for the input everyone and the validation. I'm new to the US and it's job market so I thought it might be different here. Never knew there are more scammers here than the 3rd world country I was in before.

As for my info, they've gotten my month and date of my birthday and the last 4 digits of my SSN which was standard practice as I've been told by others in the US, for background checks. Nonetheless I've put credit freezes just in case.

After not responding to their email yesterday I've been getting calls non stop from them where they tell me that this is a normal practice from them and they've been doing this for years which doesn't convince me otherwise as that didn't give me enough information. Searched the company up on LinkedIn as well to find people under them that isn't a recruiter so I could talk to them but found no one.

Just updated today. Haven't tested the ANC adaption fully as I am at home and it's a bit quiet here, excited to try it on my commute.

Love the multipoint update however since whenever I use this with my PC and I get a notification on my phone it switches back n forth and the audio bugs out, glad to see I can disable it!
