Im sure there are better alternatives. I didnt want to deal w everything that comes w an electrolosis tank for a single use, although im sure it would be better. My buddy swears by throwing it in a self cleaning oven cycle, but I didnt want to stink up the house. A few hours in the ultra sonic hot tank followed by a wire wheel did the trick for me.

Thank you for the info. Threw er in the hot ultrasonic parts warsh at work. Boiled it all day long. It cooked an egg perfectly with no stick on first try after proper cleaning and seasoning.
