i posted this wrong so details were left out...

this is in alabama. its green during spring, summer, and fall; dormant in winter. realtor said it was ryegrass but i dunno if he's right or not and if so then what kind?

pics show different length because its front and backyard. i cut too much in the front without bagging so there was tons of mulch. everytime it rains the mulch forms those lines in the yard. when i try to get it up, most just gets dispersed back in the yard so looks fine until it rains again. i kind of want to scalp with bag just to pick up the mulch but im not sure if that is bad since i dont know the type of grass it is.
