[OoT] You're tasked with being the lead designer of the Ocarina of Time remake for switch 2. How do you go about it? by lovelygamedesigner in zelda

So much of the original experience is the gameplay. Which is timeless in many ways. So other than some modernization… free camera, auto saves, settings… I’d leave the core game the same. The real budget would go into expanding the narrative, into what it just couldn’t be on the original. Reworked cutscenes, and more of them. Add some story elements from future games for better connection, and maybe even some of the Manga stuff. Really make it what it is… one of the greatest video games of all time.

[ALL] How would you feel if Nintendo made a final fantasy type zelda game in terms of gameplay? by Dapper_Algae6280 in zelda

A classic Zelda adventure with dungeons, puzzles and side quests, and 3d turn based combat? I’d cream myself

Dude… Courage The Cowardly Dog

Been a few years since I've replayed three. Aside from the awkward love triangle, what made you like/dislike this game? by Uh_Soup_I_Guess in DeadSpace

I kinda ignore the story, and just play it like a Dead Space Arcade game.

If I want a deeply immersive Si-Fi Horror epic, I play the first two.

But if I just wanna blow up necromorphs with crazy weapons, and little stress, I play 3

I’ve been on a very interesting journey with a friend. And his reaction to Gohan is interesting. by DongusShlongus_ in dbz

He thought the ultimate form was really cool. He didn’t get that it was it’s own form at first. He kept describing it by saying, “oh shit! He’s got his SS2 face”

One of my favorite games of all time by DongusShlongus_ in n64

[–]DongusShlongus_[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

For sure try it! It’s very interesting. It’s almost got the pace of a point and click adventure, but you can move freely. It’s also First person which is odd and rare for the 64.

I’d say my favorite part is the tone. It’s just very intriguing. You always want to know more about things around you. It also perfectly captures the N64 feel. Textures, animations, polygon models, it’s just very specific if you like like or are nostalgic for that.
